The North Central London Integrated Care System (NCL ICS) covers five London boroughs: Camden, Islington, Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey.

Learn more about Waiting Room by visiting our ‘What we offer’ page.

  • Who is it for?

NCL Waiting Room has been designed with young people, parents, carers and professionals to help with understanding mental health and wellbeing support options.

The website serves as a single source of truth for specialist and voluntary mental health and wellbeing information and services across North Central London.

  • Can I access it for free?

Yes, all the content on NCL Waiting Room is free to access.

Some of the apps mentioned on Waiting Room may have in-app purchases or require a subscription, but we aim to make this clear where known to us.

  • How can I find support?

To unlock all the latest features of Waiting Room, register for an account. Creating an account allows you to create a wellbeing plan containing activities, information and resources to support your personal wellbeing journey.

Use the journal function to track your mood, log personalised activities and triggers, and record resources used daily. Learn more about creating an account here.

You can use the search bar in our Trusted Library to find information and resources on specific topics, or you can select different categories to filter relevant information and resources.

Professionals can make use of the new Wellbeing Advisory Service, where they can speak to member of the Waiting Room team about understanding and recommending the wellbeing options on the website.

Here are some simple steps to make the most of the resources and support listed on the website.

Whether you are looking for information about self-help tools, national charities, community groups, immediate support, or therapeutic teams, our website is designed to be a comprehensive and user-friendly resource for anyone who needs it.

  • What is your approach?

We believe that personalised care and shared decision making are key components in promoting better mental health.

We understand that everyone’s mental health needs are unique, and a one-size-fits-all approach is not effective.

Therefore, we are committed to providing personalised care and facilitating shared decision making for our users.

  • How can I get involved?

Collaboration and community involvement are an important part of our approach to improving the understanding of mental health and wellbeing options across North Central London.

We greatly value the input of our community and encourage everyone to get involved in shaping our website, with the goal of improving access to mental health and wellbeing support for all.
