Safer London supports young Londoners and their families impacted by violence and exploitation. They provide specialised one-to-one support, delivered by skilled and culturally competent caseworkers. With a deep understanding of intersectionality and contextual safeguarding, Safer London ensures their approach takes into account the unique circumstances of each young person. By building strong, trusting relationships, they gain valuable insights into the lives of young Londoners to better understand their needs.
Safer London works not only with young people and their families but also with peer networks and communities to create safer environments where young people spend their time. Their focus is always on empowering young people and finding the best ways to keep them safe.

- Young Londoners affected by violence and exploitation
Our team of Specialist and Expert Caseworkers provide trauma-informed and person-centred support to young Londoners affected by violence and exploitation.
For anything up to 2 years, young Londoners will work with our Specialist or Expert Caseworkers who will work alongside them around areas including around safety awareness, improving health and emotional wellbeing, as well as improving relationships with peers and family dynamics.
As part of their support, they will also have access to in-house specialists and experts to support them with their needs.

- Parents & carers affected by violence and exploitation
Our team of Specialist and Expert family Caseworkers provide one to one support to parents and carers whose children are affected by violence and exploitation.
We know the impact that violence and exploitation has on parents and carers. At Safer London we have family caseworkers, who work with them to develop their confidence and ability to help keep their children safe.
For up to 12 months parents and carers will work one to one with our Specialist or Expert Caseworkers, who will work alongside them to improve wellbeing and develop coping mechanisms, as well as advocating on parent/carers behalf.

- Young Londoners affected by Sexual Violence
Our team of Sexual Violence Caseworkers specialise in providing assessment and trauma-informed support to young Londoners who have experienced sexual assault and violence.
With a focus on those at high risk of serious harm, our caseworkers offer comprehensive, long-term assistance to those affected.
For up to two years young Londoners will work with a dedciated Caseworker who is experienced in working alongside children and young people affected by sexual violence and assault.
Collaborating closely with young Londoners, our caseworkers help victims/survivors to overcome the trauma they’ve experienced, as well support them to access further support and specialist services when needed. Additionally, they work within professional networks to advocate for the rights and protection of young Londoners, including supporting young Londoners in court proceedings.

- Young Londoners Harmful Sexual Behaviours (HSB)
Our team of Expert Harmful Sexual Behaviours (HSB) Caseworkers specialise in providing trauma-informed and preventative support to young Londoners who displaying lower to medium levels of HSB.
Young Londoners who display Harmful Sexual Behaviours are often labelled as perpetrators. This labelling only serves to set them back, rather than help them move forward. Often the young Londoners we work with may not have a full understanding of their actions or where their behaviours may stem from, or that they themselves need support.
For up to 12 months young Londoners will work with a an AIM3 trained Expert Harmful Sexual Behaviours Caseworker, receiving one to one specialist support to help the young Londoners understand the importance of healthy relationships and what can be done to keep themselves and others safe.
