Description
If you are struggling with your mental health or wellbeing, Camden has a number of options for support.
This page includes information about all the local Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) services in the borough. You can click on the name of each team to learn more about what they do, who they support and how to make a referral. If you are unsure about which service is most suitable for you, you might want to speak to your GP about the difficulties you are facing and they can help you access the right support.

Camden CAMHS Services
Camden CAMHS has three service spaces:
- Camden Community CAMHS
There are five teams that sit within Camden Community CAMHS, they are:
- The Camden Complex CAMHS Service
The Camden Complex CAMHS Service is made up of four teams. The teams specialise in working with cases where there may already be several professionals involved and with families who may also struggle to access community services.
The teams offer a large amount of consultation and risk support (under the thrive model) to other professionals working with children, young people and their families as well as using an assertive outreach treatment model.
- The Child Complex Service
The Child Complex Service is made up of five specialist teams:
Camden's Local Offer - supports young people with SEND
Camden’s local offer contains information and advice for children and young people aged from from 0 to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and families.
The purpose of our Local Offer is to allow parents, carers and young people to find out more easily about that support and how to access it - all in one place. It should be your first step when looking for information and includes information from across the local area including about education, health and care services.

- The Brandon Centre: a free and confidential psychotherapy and counselling service for 16-24 year olds.
- Kori: a youth charity supporting predominantly black, and minority ethnic communities aged 11-25 years from across North London.
- Fitzrovia Youth in Action: Camden’s leading youth action charity, empowering young people to create positive change in their community and in their lives.
- The Hive: a free mental health and wellbeing service that supports all young people aged 16 to 25 in Camden.
- Home-Start Camden & Islington: offers free, confidential support and practical help to parents of children under five.
