Description
‘Nexus’ is a drama that tackles the impact of COVID on young people’s mental health.
Co-produced by young people and based on research from Imperial College London, the film tells the story of a young man’s struggles with bulimia nervosa during lockdown.
Through a combination of being physically detached from his friends and living on the wrong side of the digital divide, he falls into a downward spiral. His salvation comes in the form of a profound act of kindness.
