Description

Barnet Integrated Clinical Services (BICS) offers social, emotional, behavioural and mild-to-moderate mental health support to children, young people and families within Barnet, including those known the wider Family Services through social care involvement. We see children, young people and families in schools and in the community (including their homes).

The service works within a stepped-care model of delivering a range of therapeutic interventions and working closely with NHS specialist CAMHS and the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector. We also provide consultations, training and workshops with our colleagues within schools, Early Help Hubs, Social Care, GP surgeries and voluntary sector.

There are also clinicians delivering high-intensity interventions to children and young people with moderate mental health needs in schools and the community (Education Wellbeing Supervisors and Primary Mental Health Workers) and in social care (Children’s Social Care clinicians).
