Description
The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is the charitable arm of the football club, dedicated to supporting local communities in North London. The Foundation focuses on creating positive socio-economic change by delivering various programs and job opportunities. Their initiatives have already created 2,883 jobs, with a goal of 3,500 jobs through the new stadium development scheme.
The Foundation’s new home, Percy House, an 18th-century building on Tottenham High Road, now serves as a hub for vocational training and employment opportunities. Supported by a £1.8 million grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Club, Percy House offers community development, health, enterprise, education, and sports programs, amounting to over 95,000 hours annually. It also aims to preserve Tottenham’s history through Heritage Ambassadors who conduct outreach sessions. Locals can seek employment advice and engage in various skills programs offered by the Foundation, including apprenticeships, traineeships, and vocational qualifications.
