Description
Learning Disability England (LDE) is an organisation that works to support people with learning disabilities.
They focus on:
- advocating for the rights of individuals with learning disabilities
- providing resources and information
- promoting inclusion and equality.
Learning Disability England engages in various activities such as policy advocacy, awareness campaigns, training programs, and networking opportunities for individuals, families, professionals, and organisations involved in supporting those with learning disabilities.
Their ultimate goal is to empower people with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives and participate fully in society.

Learning Disability England (LDE) is a membership organisation and they have 3 different types of membership which they call ‘voices’.
1. Self-advocates with a learning disability, including self-advocacy organisations
2. Family and friends, including family / carer support organisations
3. Paid supporters, including support provider organisations
