Description
The NCL Waiting Room Expert Reference Group (ERG) is a group made up of experienced clinicians who meet on a regular basis to review content for the NCL Waiting Room platform.
The ERG plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and safety of the platform by providing multidisciplinary clinical expertise and lived experience.
The core objective of the ERG is to meticulously review and approve various materials, including written content, video and audio resources, and connections to external organisations. The ERG’s responsibility is to guarantee that these materials are not only informative but also safe and accessible for the website’s users.

- Joining the ERG
ERG membership is open to clinicians who are either well-qualified or in training. A prerequisite for clinicians is registration with a recognised professional body to ensure that members possess the necessary clinical competence. We also welcome ERG members with lived experience of mental health difficulties and / or use of mental health services, and professionals with a robust understanding of services who do not necessarily have a clinical background (e.g., project managers working in a service development capacity).
